Hernia repair
Dr Esh repairs hernias of all types. He'll assess whether yours needs fixing now or can be watched, and talk you through the repair.
Lumps and soft tissue
Removal of soft tissue lumps such as lipomas, and assessment of other lumps that need looking at.
Endoscopy
Dr Esh is GESA credentialed for endoscopy, so he can perform diagnostic and interventional gastroscopy and colonoscopy as part of investigating and treating upper GI problems. Not every surgeon does this, and it means a lot of your workup can happen under the one specialist.
Emergency surgery
Emergency general surgery including gallbladder, appendix and trauma sits within Dr Esh's general surgery scope.
Minimally invasive surgery
Where appropriate, Dr Esh performs general surgery using minimally invasive approaches, including robotic and laparoscopic techniques, rather than open surgery. Dr Esh is Da Vinci credentialled for robotic surgery, meaning smaller incisions, less pain and a faster recovery for many procedures.
